Look back through year 2009

2009 has been a good year so far with over 100 posts in a calendar year! Here is a quick recap of some of the most popular posts of 2009. Criteria for a post to get a mention in this list is to have a minimum of 50 comments! Unlike previous year, let me call out the posts under various categories.

Under ‘Finance’ category, these posts were the most popular:

I have discovered a new interest of reviewing cars after a test drive, glad you folks have liked those reviews. These posts made it into that category:

Also, I ran a contest to to celebrate my 3rd blog anniversary and gave away a number of prizes. Here is more info on that.

Thanks for all your feedback and watch out for more give away contests in the upcoming days. If you have any feedback or suggestion feel free to contact me!

Other interesting topics that made it to the list include:

Posts from previous year that continued to attract huge traffic include:

Apart from all the above, a guest post series on Solar Electricity was well received by most of you. For a complete list of articless published in 2009 as well as the years before that, see ‘Archives’ page here. I am sure you all will like the way posts have been organized if you missed any.

By the way, I am done with my exams today and I will have all the weekends in my control going forward. That means more travelogues, treks and more restaurant reviews :)  Thanks for all your support. It feels great to receive awards from many of the fellow bloggers, I am yet to create a page to showcase them. I am glad to know many of you through this blogosphere! Also, I have an action to update the blogroll and I promise to do that very soon. Thanks again for all your wishes and look forward for yet another great year ahead.

I am a regular reader of your blog entries. I appreciate the coverage for solar energy and the way in you described renewing the driving license for your father. The photo essays were a visual treat. Keep it up in the coming year.

I also wish you Season’s greetings and a very happy new year.

Best wishes for achieving professional goals and a happy personal life.

Thanks for being so regular on my blog articles shruti. I am sure you haven’t missed any since past few months..
Exams went pretty good. Oh yeah… So much more time during weekends now! Just that there will be a project dissertation, but that should be easy enough to handle. Still haven’t planned for the upcoming 10days long vacation… May be a visit to Mysore with family on the cards :)

Have read most of your posts this year. They were good. somehow my posts of this nature (best of 2009, summary of posts etc) never manage to receive any comments…

hey Shri, thanks for that! Well, it means that some where the content is not reaching to your readers in the right direction. Why don’t you run a survey/feedback on your blog? that will give lot of insights and it will help you regain the popularity.
