It makes me wonder why people assosicate google with search. I would be more interested to understand why people think Google produces the better results on web search. I have been telling my friends that Yahoo! search is a lot better… but certainly, people get to understand that over a period of time.
Here is a small activity for you to evaluate which is better. Follow these steps.
1. Open http://www.google.com
2. Search for string “http”
3. Open another browser window
4. Open http://search.yahoo.com/
5. Search for the same string “http”
Now you compare the results.. first 2 results may be the same.. how about the next few results? why the hell do you have www.microsoft.com as a search result for http on google engine? Come on netizens.. don’t keep your eyes narrowed down to a smaller focus.. have bigger vision & start exploring the web in a better way with better search results using Yahoo!
Atleast now you know which search engine offers the better & consistent results on web.
