I would like to add my point of view about a very interesting topic which has been brought up by the comment by Mr. Sreejesh M. People who have read his comment will for sure know what topic I am talking about! And for those who haven’t read it - well it’s the topic "Yahoo! vs. Google". Ahh where to start from? Beautiful isn’t it, what these 2 companies have done to the Internet! Creativity at its best! And the best part of all this is; it’s a win-win only situation for all of us (end users). Mr. Sreejesh I would insist that u continue to use gmail if you think that gmail serves your purpose better. Features provided by google and yahoo are only meaningful when it’s used by the differing priorities of the end users. Some features may be worthless to a few people and the same ones may be indispensable for a million others. What’s important to realize is that Yahoo+google=means freedom to we the happy users. And freedom implies there r a no of options to cater our requirements. And the best part of all this is, it’s all free! I use google search for my normal searches, use yahoo mail coz I think it rocks, use yahoo videos/music, use orkut, google news and use yahoo search on mobile. I can go on with this list of yahoo/google properties that I use...... And coming to the argument as to which of these 2 companies is better than the other.....I think that monopoly can never exist. And what doesn’t allow monopoly to exist is competition! At times google's at the top and at times Yahoo! more competition means more creativity which further means making people's life better and memorable all around the globe. So I feel it’s our duty to appreciate all the hard work by both these amazing companies. Make the best use of the facilities offered going by your needs/priorities and have a gala time!
Life is a lot more organized and simpler coz of Yahoo! and Google. Kudos to both these companies!!!:)

Hi Mohan,

Good to know that you have 10+ year old yahoo ID. I would like to inform you that my yahoo ID is as old as yours or little more older than yours. I used to use my yahoo ID as my primary webmail till I found gmail as better option than yahoo. what do you say?

Thanks,
Sreejesh
