As promised before, here I am presenting the colorful produce from my garden – Chrysanthemum flowers! These flowers are commonly known as Sevantige in Kannada while in Telugu it is called Chamanthi. With the amount of flowers that have bloomed on our roof top, probably for next few weeks we don’t have to spend on buying flowers! Not just that, our interior decoration with these flowers for aesthetic enjoyment has multiplied. Also the fresh fragrance emanating from these flowers is an additional relaxing agent for the hard working minds! Do I need to say more?
For more information on Chrysanthemum flowers, refer to Wikipedia here. If you plan to grow these flowers and need a sapling, the booking is open! Of course, needless to say that I will be giving them for free – you may have to pick it up from my home and it will be a part of my project ‘spread the GREEN love’ :). If you wish to see the produce from my garden in the past, refer to this link.
One more trivia about Chrysanthemum – these plants have been shown to reduce indoor air pollution by the NASA Clean Air Study. I think that is a sufficient incentive for growing these flowers!
