This post goes to all those who have been asking me to post the rangoli’s from my mom’s collection 🙂 These two are captured yesterday on the occasion of Varamahalaksmi festival. Feel free to ping me back if you need more 🙂
Oh! this is not as good as those I saw in villages during ‘Makar Sankranti’. Somehow I missed to click them last time. I promise to post more of this kind when ever I come across in future 🙂
Wow…I have seen ladies drawing rangoli with such an ease early in the morning in South India. I love to see them outside everyone’s house. But have always wondered the reason for drawing it everyday! Do you knw?
Yes. The reason is to keep the surroundings clean & hygiene 🙂 Also, it adds the factor of beautification plus burn few calories in the early morning to stay fit.
